Tax and Client Services Coordinator
Ashton serves as Profitability Squared's Tax & Client Services Coordinator, where she plays a key role in creating a positive experience for both new and existing clients. She manages new client onboarding, prepares engagement letters, coordinates business entity formations, and serves as a primary point of contact for client communications, helping ensure every client receives a smooth and welcoming introduction to our firm.
In addition to her client service responsibilities, Ashton supports the firm's income tax department by preparing tax returns, assists with accounting services, and works with clients to resolve tax notices and other administrative matters. Her organization, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional service make her an important part of our team.
My Story
After growing up in rural Mississippi, Ashton became a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (2018) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology accompanied by a minor in history. After graduating from college, she moved to the Birmingham area to be closer to family. Her professional background includes museum work, environmental conservation, and customer service among other things. While looking to further expand her scope of knowledge in various areas, Ashton joined the Profitability Squared family as a payroll specialist in 2021 and has since worked in the areas of payroll, sales tax, licensing/permitting, and entity setup.
Ashton remains ever interested in learning new things and adding to her skill set, but especially enjoys helping small business owners navigate the often convoluted world of maintaining compliance in various areas at all levels from local to federal.
